PINELLAS COUNTY OPENINGS

Community Initiative Coordinator-We are seeking a dedicated mission driven individual to join our Florida Center for Survivors of Torture program. Coordinator will oversee all aspects of community collaboration initiatives, training and educational forums, special programs and Interpreter Services. Coordinator will be responsible for the development and coordination of network community service providers to enable clients to gain access to medical, legal, mental health, educational and social services through the Florida Center for Survivors of Torture. Coordinator will also be responsible for meeting program and funding outcomes for educational/training outreach and special programs and serve as program representative to community groups and task forces as assigned and recruit and support network providers. Masters degree in Social sciences and at least 3-5 years experience in social service field required. Must be highly skilled in organizational development, social marketing, adult learning, training and instructional methods. Director of Grants and Development-Nationally recognized non-profit agency in Tampa Bay Area serving 32 counties seeks a detail-oriented experienced Executive professional with solid knowledge of state/local funders. Experience must demonstrate a proven track record in writing grants, securing new funding opportunities; comprehensive knowledge of research, and the ability to distinguish and identify funding opportunities from a variety of public and private funding sources. Professional Mentors - to work one on one with refugee teens as professional role models. Cultural Guides - to assist refugee families in adjusting to life in America. Client Advocates - to assist limited English proficient victims of crime with legal issues including court hearings, victims compensation benefits, and navigating the legal system. Legal Assistants - to provide support for asylum and citizenship cases including background research and client preparation.
